This course explores Spain from a new perspective.
Enjoy these dynamic classes that cover many aspects of Spain:
daily life, society, law, history, culture and other aspects.

How is the course organized?

The course can be enjoyed during a weekend , from Thursday evening to Sunday night,
or during a week, we then start on Sunday and the program ends the next Friday

Every session follows a similar framework; we will look at different aspects of the same themes (society, history, culture daily life, regions, customs and traditions).

Led by an enthusiastic instructor who makes sure that you are actively involved with the subjects.

We also have made room within the course program for a Q and A session. During this session you can ask questions about situations you have encountered and get answers, exchange experiences and discuss the news of the day.

We have designed this course carefully, it is updated and adjusted continously. The backbone of the course is providing insight into the culture and background to life in Spain.

We develop this course in cooperaation with expert on some specific subjects and local newspapers like the Sur in English. Otherwise we are indepedent and are not linked to any commercial or real-estate company.

Some of the subjects covered:

Society: law/justice, bureaucracy, the Spaniards
Culture: film, the bull in Spain, Flamenco, Catholicism
Region in focus : The basque country, Catalonia
Highlights of history : Conquest & the Americas, the civil war
